1. Research on enhancement of productivity and quality of sweet persimmon

  • How to store the persimmon seeds to be used as rootstock : germination increased by 2.4 times from 33.6 to 81.3% / PE bag in 5°C
  • Research on the early fruit bearing technology in young tree by topping as summer pruning : yield increased 13.6 times from 34.4 to 466.4 kg/10a in next year.
  • Effect of bud-thinning and fruit-thinning in mid-May and late-July respectively on the fruit quality : fruit weight increased by 9% and income was enhanced by 50%
  • Applied for the trademark for Internet sweet persimmon snack

2. Increasing the value by increasing the storage capability

  • Improved the packing method to maintain the freshness of sweet persimmon for exports: increased the hardness of the products by 2.1 times
  • Packing method of sweet persimmon for exports to keep the freshness : Precooling down to 2-5°C for 1 - 2 days, heating adhesion, sealed with ethylene gas absorbers
