1. Development of functional materials and processed products for industrialization of edible insects

  • (Diet) 2 anti-obesity peptides derived from Allomyrina dichotoma (37% weight ↓) 2 patent applications (AGL9, EIA10), SCI-level thesis publication (International Journal of Molecular Science, IF4.556)
  • (Cosmetics) whitening essence of Protaetia brevitarsis hydrolyzate, mask pack (pigment of skin 20%↓)
  • (Silver Food) Efficacy of strengthening the muscle strength of the hydrolyzate of Tenebrio molitor (3.3 times↑, cooperation developed by Dong-A University)

2. Production and distribution of new varieties of silkworm and bee

  • Silkworm production and distribution: Production of 200 sheets of 7 species of original silkworm, examination and dissemination of disease germs
  • Regional adaptation test for new silkworm varieties: matured silkworm family, JS223×CS236 weight increase by 25%
  • Newly nurtured of native honey productivity survey: excellent watertightness (167% increase)
